The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for a 45-year-old Kohala man who was reported missing in Hilo on Wednesday (January 13).

Rodney Toshio Yamura was last seen at the Naniloa Volcanoes Resort on Banyan Drive at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

He is described as 5-foot-9, 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing shorts and a faded blue sweatshirt.

Police ask that anyone with further information call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. 

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
