Police have identified a man who drowned in a Papaʻaloa ravine last  month as 31-year-old Yogi Yoswara, who had been reported missing.

The San Gabriel, California, man was reported missing on December 19. On December 31, his body was found in a ravine in the Kapehu Camp Mauka area of Papaʻaloa about 400-450 feet from the road that led to the home where he had been staying while on vacation.

Yoswara was identified Friday (January 4) through dental records.

An autopsy determined that he died from drowning.
