Big Island police are searching for a 47-year-old Pahoa man that was reported missing.

Michael Brant of Pahoa was last seen on September 13, 2010, near the Hilo Medical Center and has not been seen since. 

He was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt with lime-colored jeans and described as Caucasian, blue eyes, brown curly hair, slim, approximately 6 feet tall, with a saline lock in his left arm.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Detective Reed Mahuna at 961-2384, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe.
