The Hawaii Police Department is looking for a 13-year-old girl who has been missing from her residence on Oahu since March 23, 2002. She is believed to be on the Big Island.

She was identified as Nellie Mamuad. She is described as being Filipino, being 5-feet-8 in height, weighing about 120 pounds with a slim build and having a tan complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373, or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
