Big Island police are searching for a 38-year-old man who was reported missing Wednesday (December 14).

Ronald Malmberg is from Oregon and has been living on the Big Island for about a month.

He was last seen Monday (December 12) around 10 a.m. in South Kona and was trying to walk or get a ride to Kailua-Kona. He was wearing khaki shorts and a dark T-shirt.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
