Big Island police are searching for a 17-year-old girl reported as missing from her Hilo home since May 27, 2007. She has been identified as Daisha Joao-Schine. She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-2, about 125 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
