Media Release

The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for a 14-year-old girl reported as missing from Puna since November 13. Information received from family members indicates that she may be in the company of individuals who do not have her best interests in mind.

Summer Ihilani Keohokapu-Dutton is described as part Hawaiian, 5-foot-5, about 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
