The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 43-year-old Hilo woman last contacted by a family member in 2006.

Alvina Brewer’s last known address was on Haili Street in Hilo. Information received from a family member is that she may have left the state, but that has not been confirmed. She is described as 5-foot-4, about 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She suffers from a medical condition and may require medication.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Lieutenant Mitchell Kanehailua at 961-2252 or the Police Department’s non emergency line at 935-3311.  Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 239-8181 in Kona. All crime stoppers information is kept confidential.
