No firearm services in Hilo on Sept. 29 09-20-11

Media Release

No firearm services will be available at the Hilo police station on Thursday, September 29, because of staff training.

On that date, the public will not be able to call with firearm questions, register firearms, apply for firearm permits or pick up issued firearm permits at the Hilo station. All other police stations will follow their normal schedules for firearm registration.

The Police Department apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks the public for understanding.
