The Kona Crime Prevention Committee recognized Officer Erich Jackson as “Officer of the Month” in a luncheon ceremony Wednesday (June 4) at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

Jackson was recognized for his efforts in the recovery of methamphetamine and the arrest of two meth traffickers after a traffic stop conducted by Officer Joshua Lewis.

Jackson was also named Officer of the Month in February. As Officer of the Month, he is eligible to become Officer of the Year.

The Kona Crime Prevention Committee is an organization that encourages community involvement in aiding and supporting police in West Hawaii.
