One-way traffic set for Keaukaha schools 05-13-04

MEDIA RELEASE

In order to relieve traffic congestion during the morning and after school hours at Keaukaha Elementary and Ka Umeke Kaeo Schools in Hilo, a temporary one-way traffic pattern will be established on Desha Avenue.

During regular school days from May 17 through June 9, 2004, traffic on Desha Avenue will be allowed only in the southeast (Puna) direction between Pua Avenue and Baker Avenue.

The one-way pattern will be in effect between 7:15 and 8 a.m. and between 1 and 3 p.m.
