Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a female pedestrian who was involved in a pedestrian/motor vehicle collision in Pahoa on Wednesday (July 11). The crash took place at about 11:15 p.m. on Route 130 near the 13-mile marker.

The woman was treated for her injuries at Hilo Medical Center and then flown to The Queens Medical Center on Oahu. She is described as Caucasian, between 20 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-5 with a thin-to-medium build, reddish-brown hair and a fair complexion. She was wearing a blue denim skirt and a black top.

Police ask anyone with information about her identify to call Officer Allan Watanabe at 966-5835 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
