Police looking for missing visitor 12-25-05

Big Island police are asking the public for assistance in locating a foreign national missing since December 23, 2005.

The missing person has been identified as Alain Pierre De Toffoli of France, whom was last seen on Banyan Drive on December 23, 2005 at 8:00 p.m.

De Toffoli is described as being 5′-10″ in height, weighing about 170 pounds with a slim build, and having medium length brown hair, a fair complexion. De Toffoli is possibly in his mid-forties and may be operating a 2006 white Ford Van, license number HGA 277.

Anyone with information of De Toffoli’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer Gregory Ikeda at 961-2213 or the police non-emergency number at 961-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
