Police offer tips to protect against theft 08-06-14

Hawaiʻi Island police are reminding the public to secure their generators, outdoor equipment and other personal belongings on their property to protect against theft.

Police also ask that owners record serial numbers or identification numbers and add lettering to property items to aid in recovery if theft does occur.
