Police are looking for a 17-year-old boy who has been missing from his residence in Hilo since September 9, 2002.

The boy was identified as Charles Ishii. He is described as being Japanese, being 5-feet-6 in height, weighing about 155 pounds and having short black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact Officer Daylan Asuncion of the South Hilo Patrol at 961-2311 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
