Big Island police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 17-year-old Kona youth who has been missing since November 24, 2000.

The missing youth, Francisco Nasario, is described as being part Hawaiian, being about 5-foot-8 in height, weighing about 130 pounds and having brown hair and brown eyes.

Nasario left the interim home in Kailua-Kona without returning, but has family members living in Hilo.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the missing youth is asked to call Officer Matthew Slayden of the Kona Patrol Division at 326-4646 or the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
