Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Kiana Gilliland who was reported as a runaway.

She was last seen in the area of 1000 block of Leilani Street in Hilo on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at around 9:00 p.m., wearing a white shirt and black shorts.

She is described as being a Pacific Islander with a fair complexion and a medium build, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to please call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
