Big Island police have located a 20-year-old man who is being featured this month on “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted.”

Xanthin Berdon of Hawaiian Beaches escaped from police custody while he was being detained for robbery last month. The episode of “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” that featured his case began airing last Friday (August 13).

Berdon turned himself in Thursday (August 19) at the Hilo police station and was charged with escape. His bail was set at $2,000.
