Shige 5K Run Set for May 20 05/12/00

MEDIA RELEASE

The Shige 5K run and 1.5-mile walk will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, at Gilbert Carvalho Park in Hilo to benefit the Hawaii Police Commemorative Fund.

Anyone interested in participating in either event may pick up an application at the Hilo Police Station Receiving Desk, Kona Police Station, Keaau Police Statio, or Foot Locker at the Prince Kuhio Plaza.

Applications will also be accepted on May 20 before the event between 6 and 7 a.m. at Gilbert Carvalho Park.
