The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a car that was stolen last week in Hilo.

The blue 1999 Honda Civic SI 2-door sedan was stolen sometime between 11 p.m. April 7 and 8:40 a.m. April 8 from the parking lot fronting 50-A Maile Street. The license plate number is MFH 874.

Police ask that anyone with information about this case call Officer Matthew Ka’aihue at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
