Big Island police are investigating the theft of a laptop computer at Kealakehe High School.

The Toshiba NB200 Mini Notebook computer valued at $417 was removed from a computer classroom on February 9 between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Police ask that anyone with information about the stolen laptop or the identity of the person or persons who took it call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
