Kona police have arrested a 35-year-old man and charged him with a variety of offenses related to burglaries that occurred in the South Kohala District.

The suspect, identified as Grant Hatcher, of no permanent address, was arrested Monday (February 16, 2004) and charged with two counts of burglary, nine counts of theft, one count of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and one count of theft of a credit card. He is being held in the Kona police cellblock in lieu of $20,250 bail.

On Saturday (February 14, 2004) South Kohala patrol officers located Hatcher, who was wanted for questioning about several burglaries that occurred in South Kohala.
