MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

Ka’u police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man wanted for multiple outstanding warrants.

The suspect, identified as Eric Young, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. in Waiohinu and charged with three counts of contempt of court and two counts of revocation of parole. Young was taken to Kona, where he is being held in the Kona police cellblock on no bail.

Police had been looking for Young, of a Pahala address, for nearly a month.
