Temporary one-way traffic to be in effect 09-11-02

MEDIA RELEASE

There will be a temporary one-way traffic pattern along a portion of Kapiolani Street in Hilo on Sunday (September 15, 2002).

Between the hours of 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., traffic will flow in the Puna direction only on Kapiolani between Waianuenue Avenue and Haili Street.

During these hours, parking will be allowed on both sides of Kapiolani Street.

The temporary one-way traffic pattern, allowed under the Hawaii County Code (Section 24-10), will be in effect to accommodate the annual parish picnic held by St. Joseph’s Church.
