Big Island police have located 25-year-old Thomas Elijah Cummings IV of Laupāhoehoe, who was being sought.

He was arrested Tuesday afternoon (February 28) in Hāmākua on suspicion of continuous sexual assault of a minor.

After conferring with prosecutors, detectives from the Area I Juvenile Aid Section released him Thursday morning (March 1) pending further investigation.
