SOUGHT ON OUTSTANDING WARRANTS – Kona police are looking for Carlos Lopez, left, and Michael Lynn Seargeant Jr. on outstanding warrants for various offenses.


Kona police are seeking the public’s help in finding two Kealakekua males wanted on outstanding bench warrants for various offenses.

The first was identified as Carlos Lopez, 40. Lopez is wanted on a $10,000 warrant issued for violating bail conditions and another $300 warrant for a traffic offense.

The second man was identified as Michael Lynn Seargeant Jr., 34. Seargeant is wanted on a $4,000 warrant for contempt.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either man is asked to call Officer Sean Smith of the Kona Warrants Detail at 326-4270 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. The numbers are answered 24 hours a day. Callers will be given a coded number and their identity will remain anonymous. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if their call leads to an arrest, indictment or the recovery of property. Crime Stoppers neither subscribes to “Caller ID,” nor does it record phone calls.
