Waimea driver license office changes hours 01-27-03

MEDIA RELEASE

Because of a shortage of staff, the South Kohala Driver License Office in Waimea will operate on a temporary reduced time schedule on Wednesdays and Fridays through the middle of February,

Starting Wednesday, January 29, and ending on Friday, February 14, 2003, the office will be open to the public for written tests during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and during the hours of 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays.

The office will be closed for lunch from 12 to 1 p.m., and no road tests will be administered on those days.

On February 19, the office will resume its normal public business hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
