Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 23-year-old Honomu man wanted on an outstanding bench warrant and for questioning in connection with another incident.

Tyson Butts is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-7, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Pepeekeo and Honomu areas.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Officer Donovan Kohara at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
