Media Release

Big Island police are searching for a 59-year-old Puna man wanted on a $1,000 warrant of arrest.

John Deleon of Eden Roc is wanted for violating terms of a deferred plea. He is also wanted for questioning in connection with a terroristic threatening investigation.

He is described as 5-foot-10, 165 pounds with a tan complexion, brown eyes and gray balding hair.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
