Media Release

Hawai’i Police Department detectives are requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted for questioning in a burglary investigation.

Edward Daniel Geraghty, 23, is also wanted on an outstanding bench warrant for contempt of court.

He is described as  5-foot-5, about 150 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of the word "Geraghty" on the right side of his neck.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Lieutenant Mitchell Kanehailua at 961-2252 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
