Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 45-year-old woman who is wanted for questioning in connection with an unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle.

Cynthia Johnasen may live in Hilo or Puna. She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-6, 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Detective Norbert Serrao at 961-2383 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 961-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
