Wanted on outstanding warrants

Media Release

Big Island Police request the public’s assistance in locating a Deric Don Kalaikauik Faris, M-48, who is wanted for three outstanding-warrants and multiple all points bulletins (APB) involving theft and burglaries in the Ka’u district.

Faris is described to be 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, medium build, medium complexion, short partial gray hair, green eyes, and no facial hair. Faris was last seen in the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates area, however, may have gone back to the Hilo or Puna area with family members.

Anyone who may have information in regards to Faris may contact Officer Dane Shibuya at the Ka’u Police Station at 939-2520 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
