Wanted on bench warrants

MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two people wanted on bench warrants issued by Big Island Drug Court.

Their names are Michelle Griffin and Joseph Sullivan.

The 47-year-old Griffin is described as Hawaiian 5-foot-7, about 150 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and brown hair.

Sullivan, 18, is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, about 155 pounds with a slim build, blue eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on Griffin’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer DuWayne Waipa of the South Hilo Community Policing Section at 899-3221 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Anyone with information on Sullivan’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer Renee Morinaka of the Kona Community Policing Section at 326-4646, ext. 290, or the police non-emergency number.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
