Reprepresentives from companies working on the Pakini Nui South Point Windmill Project will hold a traffic advisory informational meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, at the Naalehu Community Center.

They will discuss how they plan to transport large components for 14 windmills from Hilo to South Point during September, October and November.

Police Captain Marshall Kanehailua, commander of the Ka’u District, said trucking the equipment will require periodic temporary road closures along the route. He encourages citizens who may be inconvenienced by the movement to attend the meeting.
