Puna police are seeking the public’s help for information about the theft of 85 rolls of wire mesh and hand tools from a residence in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision.

Sometime between June 6 and July 22, 2001, a thief or thieves stole 23 rolls of 19 gauge one-half inch and 62 rolls of 16 gauge one-half inch galvanized wire mesh from the open garage of a Puni Mauka Street residence.

A white wooden storage cabinet and several hand tools were also taken.

Anyone with information about the theft or the identities of the thieves is asked to call Officer Thomas Letulle of the Puna Patrol at 966-5835.
