Big Island police have arrested a 40-year-old woman on an extradition warrant from Texas.

Responding to an anonymous tip, East Hawaii Criminal Investigation Section detectives arrested Leilani Vaughn at 10:50 a.m. Friday (January 7, 2005) in Pahoa, Puna.

Also known as Leilani Kapule and Leilani Yates, the woman is being held in the Hilo police cellblock pending extradition to Texas.
