Woman sought by police arrested 01-14-03

Acting on an anonymous tip, police officers have arrested a 28-year-old woman wanted on four outstanding warrants.

Community Police Officer John Keone Rodrigues of South Kohala and South Kohala Patrol Officer Clarence Yee arrested the woman, identified as Rebecca Kehaulani Pelfrey, at a Waikoloa apartment complex in South Kohala.

Pelfrey was arrested at 7:45 a.m. Monday (January 13, 2003) after the officers found her hiding under a bed.

Police had issued a news release the previous Friday asking for the public’s help in locating the woman.
