Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 12-year-old missing girl, Kailea Kekipi of Hilo. She was last seen at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and blue jeans.

Initially reported as a runaway, Kekipi is considered endangered due to her age. She is 4 feet 11 inches, 97 pounds, with  shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on Kekipi’s whereabouts to call 911 or the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
