Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two east Hawai‘i female teens, who were reported as runaways on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, after each girl left their Hilo residence around 9 p.m.

Fourteen-year-old Kayzlyn Grammer (Report No. 22-005919) is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black-colored hoodie, black-colored pants, and a backpack.

Sixteen-year-old Kelis Garmon-Mercado (Report No. 22-005920) is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 300 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray-colored hoodie, black-colored shorts, and boots.

Police ask anyone with information on either girl’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Alric Dalere at alric.dalere@hawaiicounty.gov.​
