Hundreds of keiki from across Hawai‘i Island, age six to eight years old, recently participated in the Hawai‘i Island Police Activity League (HI-PAL) T-Ball/Coach Pitch baseball tournament hosted by Hawai‘i Police Department at the Kawananakoa Gym in the Keaukaha area of Hilo.

A total of 300 players on 22 teams competed in the two-day event, held Saturday, January 28, 2023, and Sunday January, 29, 2023. The big winners of the tournament were the Kona White Socks who beat out the Wreckers Black to clinch the title.

The Hilo Community Policing Section would like to thank everyone involved for their help making this tournament such a great success.
