10-03-23 (Update) Two East Hawai‘i Runaways Located

Hawai‘i Island police report that two female east Hawai‘i runaways were located in good health in separate instances.

Eleven-year-old Kulia Uaiwa-Penn, was located in Hilo on Monday, October 2, 2023, (Case #: 23-093784). Due to her age, she is considered an endangered missing person.

Fifteen-year-old Cara Miguel, was located in Puna on Sunday, October 1, 2023, (Case #: 23-079764).
