Hawai‘i Island police are asking the community’s assistance in locating 40-year-old Ian Charles Resh of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing by his family. 

Resh was last seen on Saturday, October 16, 2021, around 6:30 a.m. at Kohanaiki Beach Park in Kailua-Kona wearing a black t-shirt, black board shorts, and carrying a black back pack.   

He is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 10 inches, 150 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He has numerous visible tattoos on both of his arms.

Police ask anyone with information on Resh’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or email Officer Adam Cho at Adam.Cho@HawaiiCounty.gov.
