Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 34-year-old Oceanview woman who was reported missing.

Shanera Echols was last seen in Oceanview at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (December 3).

She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-5, 192 pounds with dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing black pants, a hooded camouflage khaki jacket and blue slippers. She has a medical condition that requires medication.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective David Matsushima at 326-4646, extension 228, or david.matsushima@hawaiicounty.gov.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
