Hawaiʻi Island police are renewing their request for information about a Kohala man who was reported missing in 2014.

Jonathan Riveira was last seen at a Hāwī home on January 12, 2014. Riveira was 38 years old at the time of his disappearance. 

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Detective Carrie Akina at (808) 326-4646, extension 277, or email at carrie.akina@hawaiicounty.gov.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
