Media Release 

Hawaiʻi Island police report that 30-year-old Tyler Armstrong of Kailua-Kona, who was previously reported as a missing person in Kona, was located deceased.

On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Armstrong was located in an empty lot near his residence. Next of kin have been notified and have positively identified Armstrong’s body. The cause of death is unknown, although police do not suspect foul play. An autopsy will be performed later this week to determine the exact cause of death.
