Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 10-year-old Kainoha Nowell, who was initially reported as a runaway but due to his age is considered at-risk.

Nowell is described as Micronesian, 5 feet tall, 75 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 9 a.m. in the 300 block of Desha Avenue in Hilo wearing a black T-shirt with a white design, gray shorts, and white shoes.
