Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the community’s assistance in locating 43-year-old Michael Kuahuia of Hilo, who has been reported missing and is in need of medication. 

He was last seen on Thursday, March 17, 2022, around 11 a.m. at a business establishment located off the 800 block of Ululani Street in Hilo. 

Kuahuia is described as local, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 270 pounds, with dyed red shoulder-length curly hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
