The Hawai‘i Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Pohakea Lipe, who was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant and for questioning in connection with other criminal investigations. On Friday, March 18, 2022, he was arrested and charged for two bench warrants, one arrest warrant, and one-count of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.

His bail is set at $15,150 and he remains in police custody at the Kona Police Station pending his initial court appearance scheduled for Monday, March 21, 2022, in Kona District Court.
