3-22-21 Police Ask for Public’s Assistance in Locating 95-year-old Tokoyi Morimoto Missing in Puna

Media Release 

Hawai‘i Island police are searching for 95-year-old Toyoki Morimoto, who was last seen on Monday, March 22, 2021, in the Orchidland subdivision in Puna. Morimoto walked away from his residence and is in need of medication.

He is described as being Japanese, 5 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds, bald with brown eyes. Morimoto was last seen wearing a beige cap, blue/brown checkered jacket, blue jean shorts, and sandals.

Police ask anyone with information on Morimoto’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 attention Officer Laurence Davis.
