Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Zealand Brickwood, who was reported as a runaway. Due to his age, Brickwood is classified as an endangered missing child.

Brickwood was last seen at Coconut Island on Banyan Drive in Hilo on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. wearing a black-colored Pro Club t-shirt, beige-colored shorts, and slippers. 

Brickwood is Caucasian with a medium complexion, 5 feet and 2 inches tall, 110 pounds, with dark, brown eyes and buzz-cut hair.

Police ask anyone with information about Brickwood’s whereabouts to call Officer Ekahi Travaso at the police department’s non-emergency number (808) 935-3311.
